Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
Cheryl has spent the last 10+ years of her career as a financial services professional working within Fortune 500 companies that span investment banking (Goldman, Sachs & Co.), commercial banking (Capital One Financial) and accounting and advisory (Ernst & Young).
Prior to working on Wall Street, Cheryl earned her degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Sociology from her beloved alma mater, Georgetown University in Washington, DC. However, Cheryl’s interest in business dates back much farther than her college years.Cheryl first gained exposure to the art of “deal-making" when as a kid she would follow her entrepreneur father to work on the weekends. At the ripe old age of eight, she would go on to try her hand at her own business ventures which included manufacturing and selling lanyard keychains and beaded jewelry in the summer and shoveling neighborhood driveways in the snowy New York winter.
Cheryl’s more recent experience includes financial reporting, product management, market research and client insight and analysis among other specialties. Cheryl’s first foray into real estate was the purchase of a new construction condo unit in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn in 2010. Since then, she’s kept a close eye on local NYC real estate, looking for trends and investment opportunities.
Equipped with the breadth of knowledge gained from her previous roles, a longstanding love affair with all things real estate and a penchant for taking on (and mastering!) new challenges, Cheryl decided to embark upon the world of real estate sales in 2016. With her laser focus and dogged determination, Cheryl obtained her New York State Real Estate Salesperson License in just 24 days. The intersection of her passion for helping others meet their goals, her experience with identifying the needs and wants of her clients, her entrepreneurial mindset and her classic native New Yorker sensibilities enable her to be well-positioned for a long-standing career in this field.
When she’s not selling real estate you can usually find her in Brooklyn attending a music fest, taking in a new exhibit at a nearby museum, strolling through Prospect Park or planning her next international escapade.
Cheryl looks forward to collaborating with you on your upcoming real estate adventure.
